These unique, vibrant rugs are handwoven in Peru using sheep & alpaca wool. Each one takes over a month to weave.
Frazada means 'blanket' in Spanish but these beautiful fabrics are heavy and thick and are perfect to be used as rugs, blankets or throws.
Each frazada is one of a kind. They are woven in 2 pieces and stitched together down the centre.
These rugs are vintage pieces - please allow for small imperfections which are characteristic of this type of handwoven fabric.
All rugs are clean and hole free, but occasional threads and tufts may be found.
All of the rugs are reversible - some of them look very similar on both sides whereas some look very different - I have included two pictures of the ones that are different on either side so you can see them clearly.
These beauties are heavy and will incur a higher delivery charge of £10 - but sent via courier and will require a signature.
As always, if you are able to collect, please put BATTLELOCAL in the discount box at checkout for delivery charge to be waived!
